HOOSICK FALLS, NY
Anne M. Eberle, 88, a former resident of Rogers Avenue, Hoosick Falls, died peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls following a long illness.
Born in Bennington on July 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Josephine (Cote) Croteau.
Anne married Alfred Eberle on May 10, 1952 at Sacred Heart Church in Bennington. In her early years Anne was employed at Vandevers Printing in Bennington. After her marriage Anne became a stay-at-home Mom and housewife.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and taking care of her cats.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Eberle of Hoosick Falls; her children, Joanne Eberle Brown and her husband William of Hoosick Falls, Mary Douget and her husband Bobby of Basile, LA, Carol Eberle of Latham, NY, Alfred Eberle of San Francisco, CA and Yvonne Mendelson and her husband Mike of Port Charlotte, FL; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Joyce Croteau of Bennington and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anne was predeceased by a son, John Eberle.
The funeral will be held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington on Friday, January 18, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
At the familys request there will be no calling hours.
Private committal services will take place at the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery, Bennington at the convenience of the family.
