Amie Marie Pero, 33, a resident of Scott Street, Bennington, died Monday, March 4, 2019 at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Bennington on November 27, 1985, she was the daughter of Bradley C. and Linda L. (Gerity) Pero. Amie received her education in the Bennington and Cambridge, NY schools.

Amie had been employed at the Texaco Mini-Mart, Stand Up MRI in Latham, NY, the Danforth Adult Care Center in Hoosick Falls, NY. and also was a route delivery driver for the Rutland Herald.

Amie was an animal lover who always dreamed of becoming a vetenarian. She especially loved her cats.

Survivors include a daughter, Kaelyn Grogan of Cambridge, NY who Amie loved very much; her mother, Linda Pero (Joseph Grover) of Bennington; her father, Bradley C Pero (Rhonda Hoyt) of Eagle Bridge, NY; a brother, Brian Pero (Ashley Bacon) of Buskirk, NY; her maternal grandmother, Ramona Gerity of Bennington; a niece and nephew, twins Layla and Kaine Pero; her fiancé, Duane Harrington of Bennington and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
