Alfred Merle Hickey Jr.

May 8, 1971 — June 5, 2021

Alfred Merle Hickey, 50 passed away on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.

In the years before his passing, Alfred was employed at Energizer battery company in Bennington. He was remembered by many in his time there as a hard working father and friend. Alfred enjoyed pastimes such as camping, fishing, gaming, and four-wheeling. What he most enjoyed was a good time listening to music and hanging out with family and friends.

Born in Flint, Michigan on May 8, 1971, he was the son of the late Alfred Griffith and Alberta (Lamica) Griffith. He received his education in Massachusetts and Florida schools.

He is remembered by his two sons Derek Billings and Justin Hickey and his two daughters Jasmine Hickey and Alyssa Hickey, a grandson, Nathan Billings, his former wife Dawn Billings and his five siblings David Hickey, Matthew Hickey, Julie Hickey, Gordon Hickey and Howard Hickey as well as several nieces nephews and cousins.

He's gone too soon and will be missed by many.
