Adam Leslie Bush

Adam L. Bush, 38, a resident of North Bennington, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2023. Born on April 15th, 1984, he was the son of Richard J. and Linda (Harrington) Bush. Adam received his early education in the Bennington schools and graduated from Mt. Anthony Union High School in 2002. He briefly attended East Coast Aerotech where he took some classes learning to become an airplane mechanic. Adam later became the Lead Custodian of Manchester Elementary Middle School in Manchester Center, Vermont and worked there for nearly 15 years. Adam enjoyed skiing, hunting, gardening, preserving his harvest via canning and freezing, assembling model rockets, and restoring an antique corvette he had purchased. Besides these things Adam was a handy man and enjoyed carpentry. He was happy to fix or complete a job in just about any capacity, as long as it kept him busy. Survivors of Adam include his daughter Elizabeth “Beth” Bush, his mother, Linda, brothers, Matthew “Todd” Bush and Peter (Alexis) Bush. He is also survived by a grandmother, Mary Harrington and an Uncle Harold L. Harrington Jr. Adam is predeceased by his father Richard, his maternal grandfather Harold L. Harrington Sr., and his paternal grandparents; Ethel and Irving Bush. Friends are invited to calling hours at the Mahar and Sons Funeral Home in Bennington, Vermont at 4pm till 6pm on Tuesday March 7th, 2023. At 6pm, immediately following the calling hours, there will be a Memorial Service in honor of Adam.
