John A. Vallotti

December 10, 1933 — December 5, 2020

John A Vallotti, 86, a former resident of North Bennington, VT and New Jersey and more recently of Bennington died Saturday December 5, 2020 at his residence at Colonial Gardens in Bennington following a brief illness.

He was born in Croton on the Hudson, NY on December 10, 1933. He was the son of the late Angelo and Viola (Folgerhait) Vallotti. He married the former Karyl Watson on Feb. 2, 1962, Karyl died August 10, 2016.

John was an entrepreneur. In earlier years he owned a real estate and insurance business and retired as Sales Manager from Modern Aluminum Anodizing Corporation in North Adams, MA.

He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports. His family was his main interest.

Survivors include a daughter Andrea Sigsbury and her husband Ken of Pownal, VT. A son John A. Vallotti Jr. and Michelle of Georgia. Two granddaughters, Jennifer and Sarah and four grandsons, Michael, Noah, Dakota and Anthony. A sister, Gloria VanDerzee of Bennington, VT and a nephew, Scott VanDerzee.

At John's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

A graveside service will be held at the family lot at Saint John's Cemetery in North Bennington at the convenience of the family.
