Harlan B. Kipp, 24, a resident of School Street, Bennington, died in a drowning accident at Lake Paran in North Bennington on Tuesday evening, August 7, 2018.
Born in Bennington on March 18, 1994, Harlan was the son of Clayton W. Kip and Elizabeth A. Jones. He received his education in the Bennington schools and was a 2012 graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.
Harlan first worked at Charlie Wells Gun Shop in Bennington. At the time of his death he was employed at Hemmings Motor News.
Harlan enjoyed watching movies and playing video games. He was a gun enthusiast, an old car aficionado and loved driving his old Jeep.
Harlan is survived by his parents, Clayton Kip and Elizabeth Jones of Bennington and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services celebrating the life of Harlan B. Kip will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Msgr. Bernard Bourgeois officiating.
