Cheryl Ann Cook

NORTH BENNINGTON-

Cheryl Ann Cook, 67, a resident of North Bennington, Vermont passed away at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center on May 16th 2022.

She was born in North Adams, Massachusetts to the late Roger Berard and Helen Lebaron on October 15th, 1954. She attended North Adams schools, graduating from Drury High School. Cheryl was employed at Johnson Controls for over ten years.

Cheryl married Bruce Cook on November 11th, 1978. Together they enjoyed spending time with their friends, going to the Eagles to play pull tickets and being around their grandchildren, as well as, watching 'Gunsmoke". Cheryl was known to give people a hard time, and she loved being funny. She was a very social, free-spirited person that was loved by many. In her earlier years, she was known to travel by hitchhiking around.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Bruce Cook, of North Bennington, VT. Her children, Kari Cook (Mike Bardusch), Kelly Cook (Joseph Hunt), Shannon Cook, and Scott Cook. Four grandchildren, Scott, Kelsey B, Averry, and Claudia "Cece". She is also survived by a sister, Sandy (Ricky) Arnold.

Cheryl was predeceased by a brother, Keith Berard. As well as, a nephew, Jeremy Berard.
