My sincere condolences to Art's family. Art was one of the first people I met when I came to Bennington Elementary School as Assistant Principal and then later as Principal. His warm welcome and kind heart were the first things I noticed and I was proud to be his colleague and friend during the years I was there. Donna, you'd probably remember me as Laurel Garrison, although I now go by Laurel Davis.

Art and Bob went to high school together and we met on the church steps in 1968. We have been friends ever since and when Bob passed away, our friendship continued on to this day. I made Art's favorite Christmas cookies the very day he died with the intention of bringing them to him that Saturday. So, Art, we ate yours! I will always miss him as we shared years of laughter and family times. Donna, Mike, Karen and Amanda, Emily, Jake, Chris, and Hayley: My love and sympathy from all my family and especially me. Your husband and father and grandfather was a truly generous and loving man - never did he miss a chance to help someone in need. We were blessed to have him in our lives. Love, Norina
