"Mrs. C" lived a long, fulfilled and spiritual life- and became a pillar of our little Murphy Hill Road community. She had the unfailing support of her family- as well as friends and neighbors when she was no longer able to be independent. Our sympathies to all of you and best wishes for an especially spiritual Christmas season in her memory.

We are overwhelmed with sadness. Aunt Carrie was such a sweet, kind and loving soul. The world has truly lost an angel. Some of my fondest childhood memories were the visits to the farm in VT. Carrie and Chip were such wonderful hosts! The very best Aunt and Uncle for any nephew/niece. Our sadness is even greater as this feels like the end of an era. Carrie, Chip and all of our parents epitomized the term "greatest generation". For this we are all blessed. We pray that your pain/grief is brief, followed swiftly by the countless fond and loving memories. And we pray that we can all carry on with even a smidgeon of the character (and lessons learned) from the Chip Elders. We loved Carrie, and we love you all.

Sending love to the whole family. You are truly an amazing family, you have especially supported one another with such strength and love during the last amazing years of Carrie's life. Although I only know Marleen--who is a true, old friend, I feel that, throughout the years and through her stories, you have all become such real people. Carrie's legacy will continue to live in all of you. Cathy Waldman

With so much love and deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved Carrie. Thinking of the video of her doing her cheerleader chant last summer. What an amazing 100 year run she had! We wish we were closer and could join you this week. Holding you in our hearts, Laurie and Peter
